    At least one applicant shall document lawful resident status in the United States as either citizen, permanent resident alien (i.e., applicant has a “green card”) or other long-term resident status or visa as of the date of application.

    The eligible applicant shall provide at least one of the following documents to document United States residency: affidavit, application disclosure, birth certificate, passport, naturalization documents, resident alien documents, and/or other documentation deemed sufficient by the Mayor’s Office of Housing.

    If you did not receive an email for the bedroom size or AMI % means either you did not originally apply for that bedroom size and you are no in the AMI % category.

    Note: If a household income falls under the 80% AMI limits, they would be eligible to purchase a 100% and 120% AMI unit. Similarly, if a households’ income is over the 80% AMI limit but below the 100% AMI, they would be eligible to purchase the 100% or 120% AMI units.

     

     

    You could be reached in line for all units that you applied for or only certain ones based on the ranking for each lottery pool.  For example, you may not be reached for the 80% 2 Bedroom, but you could be reached in line for the 2 Bedroom 100% AMI and 120% AMI.

  • Pay Stubs

  • How are pay stubs calculated?

    • Applicants must provide the last 3 months of consecutive pay stubs for all adult household members (18 years of age or older).

    How are pay stubs calculated?

    • Pay is calculated based on taking your current pay and projecting it over 12 months.
    • The projection is based on the average of your pay stubs or the average based on dividing your year-to-date gross income by the number of pay periods.
    • Bonuses, commissions, and overtime are calculated in this projection.  

    Additional Information:

    • Provide school transcript or proof of student status for dependent household members over the age of 18 and full‐time students.
    • Please include the income for any full-time students over age 18.

    I understand that if selected by lottery, I must occupy the property as my primary residence within 60 days after the closing of the mortgage and continually occupy the residence as my primary residence.

    I understand that certain conditions are placed on the use and resale of these properties. I understand that the properties are subject to an Affordable Housing Covenant.

    I am not currently, nor have I been within the last twelve (12) months, an employee of the Mayor’s Office of Housing. I am not an immediate family member of a current or former employee of the Mayor’s Office of Housing.

    I have never been convicted of real property arson, tenant harassment in Housing Court or violating Fair Housing Laws. I am not presently in mediation with the Boston Fair Housing Commission or the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. I am not presently a defendant in a criminal complaint in Housing Court for a Fair Housing violation or in an arson case.
